I have loved performing since I was barely 2 years old. The proof of said love is captured on a VHS tape that my Mom still has -- I can be seen singing my favorite Disney song at the time, “April Showers” from the movie Bambi. I may not have been able to correctly pronounce all of the words to the song, but I'm pretty sure I NAILED the melody and the “drip, drip, drop” refrain. Luckily, as I've grown older, my diction and lyric memorization has improved. *cue laugh track*
Since returning to the Bay Area after college, I have had the opportunity to perform at several south Bay Area venues with numerous companies including Broadway by the Bay, Lyric Theatre or San Jose, Tabard Theatre, Free Range Opera, and the Stanford Savoyards. Some of my favorite Lyric roles include Maria (The Sound of Music), Pitti-Sing (The Mikado), Tessa (The Gondoliers), Meg Brockie (Brigadoon). Now that I've moved up the Peninsula from San Jose to Redwood City, I've enjoyed performing alongside some of The Bay Area's most talented artists.
During your "typical" working hours, I can be found at Google, managing the digital event program for our client meeting center or belting out tunes with Googapella. When I'm not working or performing, I enjoy sewing and baking, spending time with family and friends, working out with Orangetheory, going on outdoor adventures, getting my Om on at Peacebank Yoga, and sharing my life with my husband and daughter and our cat, Zora.
